Strange PC Problems (unable to load third party apps)

No, I was extremely careful with anything I did on my pc, and barely used it. So silly old me, I regretted to create one. But on the bright side, I don't need any of the files; they're all backed up to Google. Would I need to create a recovery disc (doubt it'll work with current instability), or...

Strange PC Problems (unable to load third party apps)

Now when I try to open steam, it does what I stated in the original post, but it also opens Spotify and Open Office. Game Booster 3 also goes crazy switching back and forth from gaming to normal mode.

Strange PC Problems (unable to load third party apps)

Not sure if you can see that I edited the last comment. But I'm not positive on how to do that. I'm unfortunately using at HP OEM right now, so I didn't install windows from a disc. It's also a manufacture refurb. computer, so I believe it heightens the chance of the RAM being faulty. Anyways...

Strange PC Problems (unable to load third party apps)

Hey guys! I've been experiencing some very strange issues over the past two days. First, I updated my AMD drivers to the latest version, and my resolution (typically 1900) didn't fill the screen anymore. There would be black areas along all four sides of the monitor. However, when I turn the...

Gtx 660 superclock on HP Pavilion with corsair?

Hello again! I've posted several times trying to figure out a proper upgrade for my HP pavilion p6-2107c, and think I might finally have a compatible solution. Here is a spec sheet for my particular computer...

NVIDIA GTX 680 graphics card trouble

Hello, Deskardo! I've been looking into many compatibility issues as I've been trying to upgrade my HP to a gtx 700 series card (a nightmare). I'd suggest to first search for the bios that is included in the card, seeing if there's a newer UEFI bios that can be applied. Not sure about your mobo...

    Is my psu good enough

Tanamien, Blackbird brought up a great point (we meet again, Blackbird. I actually have a question I really, really need help with). Sometimes there are compatibility issues beyond the psu rating. This goes for gpu, psu, mobo, Cpu, etc. The power rating is sufficient, though. Just not compatible...

    Is my psu good enough

Your psu should be fine. A common misconception is the amount of power a pc actually uses. Of course it's never good to cheap out on a psu due to the role it has in powering your rig. I suggest watching a guy on YouTube who's channel is named "jays two cents". He has a video about how much power...

    Upgrading; need unbiased advice.

Almost forgot! Is there any way to legitimately check the bios compatibility? I don't completely trust evga support to give me the correct answer. I've looked online for my current bios information, and have found no information. Any help?

    Upgrading; need unbiased advice.

Thank you, Blackbird! I'll ask evga about the compatibility regarding the bios (I'm assuming that they'll know) Emdea, I already own both pc's. Everything is complete, I just need a new gpu. I have 16gb of ram on both. I don't want to upgrade my psu (as blackbird mentioned), so the 750ti is...

    Upgrading; need unbiased advice.

Hey guys! I posted recently about upgrading my HP desktop (pavilion p6-2107c) and what gpu I should get, etc. My pc comes with an amd A6 3620 with a Hibiscus motherboard. I would really like to upgrade my gpu to the evga gtx 750ti superclock, but don't know if my cpu will bottleneck it or if it...

Wondering what I need to upgrade in my pc..

I currently have an AMD A6 3620, but according to HP, it can only be upgraded to a 3800 or 3850. I'm not overly experienced with cpu's, so I need as much help as I can get..

Wondering what I need to upgrade in my pc..

Hey guys! I've been pc gaming for years, and decided it's time for am upgrade. I currently have an Hp Pavilion p6-2107c. I don't need a gpu that'll run ten displays at a time or anything, just one that'll run anything I want on ultra, without having to upgrade every component of the pc. I was...
