    [SOLVED] Uprgades for i7-7700

I'm sorry for the confusion, but that's what I CURRENTLY have, not what I'm getting. I just linked it for reference, in case someone wanted to know. I wanted to know what RAM I could get and what graphics card I could upgrade to.

    [SOLVED] Uprgades for i7-7700

I was looking to upgrade my ram and gfx card in my computer, but wasn't sure what I can or should get. I wanted to upgrade my ram from 8gig to 16 (and to something good since task manager doesn't even list what type of ram it is) and upgrade my card form the GTX 1060 3gig or something good, but...

[SOLVED] Fans Spinning Higher Than Normal

I bought the Corsair HD120 RGBs from Best Buy a year ago, and they didn't come with any software to install. How do I know what iCue software to get? Also, is there another way to see what may be causing them to spin faster than normal? Again, this could be my anxiety talking, but this is...

[SOLVED] Fans Spinning Higher Than Normal

How do I measure the rpm? And what is iCue? The fans didn't come with any driver software programs. I've had the computer for 3 years, but replaced the old fans with Corsair RGBs about a year ago.

[SOLVED] Fans Spinning Higher Than Normal

For the past two weeks, my cooling fans have been spinning higher than normal when not gaming. I had just cleaned the computer, just in case that was the issue, but they still spin a little higher than normal. I haven't noticed any performance issues with my computer, but should I be worried...

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

No, every time there's noise, that's the first thing I check, but there's only fan noise coming from it. The offenders are the case fans. But should I replace the CPU fan anyway? I would imagine it does, since I got it 2017, but I am not sure.

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

Sorry for the double post, but I need to ask another question. One of my case fans has started making noise again. I had oiled it about 2 months ago and it stopped, but it's doing it again. How long can I wait to get new fans? My case has 3 fans PLUS the cooling fan on the cpu. The only...

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

I am looking at Noctua fans I am liking what I see. Any particular ones? I have no clue what size I need as I have no way to measure mm.

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

UPDATE: I did the tube trick and it helped identify that the third cooling fan is the culprit. It's not shaking or looking off balance, so small miracle there. But I WILL be replacing all three cooling fans. Any recommendations on what brand to buy?

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

It's a loud sound like a fan, btu I am not sure. I will try the listening with a tube trick when I have the chance. I have been planing on replacing the fans when i got my tax check, though I have never done that before. Also, i used some I think 3-1 oil and did the trick the first time.

[SOLVED] Computer Loud ONLY on Startup

I've been noticing this issue for a few weeks. When I power on from cold (off for longer than four hours), it's VERY loud. But after a few minutes, it quiets down and then it's just a hum. I did have issues with two of the cooling fans (they shook and spun weird), but I oiled them and they...

    Is my external harddrive failing?

Yeah, I have to wait until I get my paycheck to afford another HD and an enclosure to connect the two. I don't have access to another PC to check it on, sadly. A friend reccomended me a Western Digital Red HD, I just need an external enclosure for multiple harddrives, and take the Seagate out...
