Renz you are spot on I took the PC in to the shop today but failed to recreate the problem in store... so for a moment i thought it might be my wall plug. The clever techie then loaded a stress test that stress's the ENTIRE pc and this caused a restart. We swapped PSU's and everything is fine...

Reinstalled windows... I wanted to try this before climbing into parts swapping... It is definitely not a windows error as I had a crash the moment i booted into the fresh copy of windows
