Just tried a different monitor - still "No Signal".

Graphics card bad? Trouble is I don't have another one to try/test out. And if I buy a new one and it's not my original graphic card - I'm stuck with an extra card.

CMOS battery was dead. Replaced it. Still no display. Reaching way back in my memory I seem to recall an error message about the one driver the "Scan for Hardware Changes" came up with. Unfortunately can'r recall what the message sent. Perhaps the driver(s) is corrupt?

Taking it out and putting it back in? Or replacing it?

Could probably enter BIOS by continually hitting the DEL key - but I can't see anything on the screen to know what I'm doing once I get there.

Hey Tea, Thanks for the advice. The cost is not prohibitive so replacement may be a quick, cheap fix. Don't think the fan is knackered (love those English terms!). At 57 degrees it's spinning at 1847RPM. The system fan at 1347RPM. But obviously the 1847 RPM isn't keeping the CPU cool enough. And...
