gotcha, honestly i think the problem in the first place was me trying to get windows into the hard drive without a flash drive.

im thinking i can wipe the hard drive then install windows through it on my friend's pc via flash drive now.

there's still the windows boot manager upon startup but around that, i can boot without it.

Oh wow yeah it works without my friends hard drive, last night it wasn’t booting correctly without it.

oh nevermind i know what you mean, i could possibly reset my system but the other drive is going to be up for question.

drive C is mine and hard drive is my friend's and what do you mean by returning my system back to original config, sorry that you have to dumb it down for me.

I downloaded windows onto a hard drive for my friend to use on his computer and it works all fine until i remove it. It then goes to boot manager and I can't access recovery mode or anything from there besides just booting and even then it doesnt boot and sends me to the boot manager of windows...

No luck on that one.

my monitor is an MSI optix g24c, I also need to include that I tried to check to see the inputs for the monitor but none of the buttons on it did anything, just the no signal screen.

I think so? The first time I plugged in the cable and turned the pc on it just detected it and displayed right on. It was a DP? Whatever those cables are called. I also used hdmi and dp in all the inputs the gpu had, every port, no luck and no signal on the monitors part ever.

I got a new motherboard, everything powers on with everything plugged into the right areas. The only problem is that I dont think it went through the POST thing. The monitor says no signal when everything in the pc is running just fine, fans and everything. Tried multiple things to get the...

Oh ok, my bad. Not too keen when it comes to pc building. I’ve only recently finished this pc as my first.

Just turn on, i’ve tried getting it to bios as it is a motherboard capable of booting bios without a cpu or gpu but no luck unless I’m doing something wrong.
