Cakewalk was bought by Bandlab in 2018 and it's been free and receiving significant improvements and bug fixes ever since. Bandlab has just released the final update and they are releasing two new DAW products that won't be free soon.

Thanks, I wasn't aware that ASUS was subpar. Can you elaborate? To me the ROG STRIX Z790-F looks like a good choice if you don't want to spend over $400 for a mb with 4 ea expansion slots and M2 drives. What am I missing? Which other mb would you recommend?
