    Question Multiple Monitor Sleep Issue

    I just got a new LG C3 42" to add to my monitor collection. Layout is like this: 4 = LG C3, HDMI 1 = U2717D, 1440p, DP 3 = AW3418DW, 1440p UW, DP 2 = U2719D, 1440p, DP GPU = RTX 4090 FE OS = Windows 11 Pro, fully up to date I don't always have the C3 on. I use this setup to work from...

Get Ready for the Next Windows 10 Update

I would really enjoy it if windows would remember my color profiles for all 3 of my screens. Pretty much every time I sit down at my computer, I have to reapply my ICC profiles.

    Can The GTX 1080 handle a 1440p 144hz monitor

Yes, you should be fine. I have a similar setup (i7 4770k and 1080). I had a 1440p 144hz monitor and it was great. Then i got a 34" 120hz gsync monitor and its even better. You might get some bottlenecking from the CPU. Its debatable I guess, sometimes I feel like mine is bottlenecking. Try...

    Computer Shut Down, Won't Boot

I was playing Division and my computer shut straight down to black screen, computer completely off and did not attempt to reboot. Could still see power to the mobo as the power button was lit up (I have an onboard power button). My Hue+ was still lit up and my mouse and keyboard had lights on...

Monoprice 4k monitor stuck at 30 Hz with DisplayPort

So to add to this issue, I just tried hooking up the 4k monitor via displayport only. I get 60 hz on the 4k, but as soon as I connect the other 1080p monitors via DVI, it goes back to 30 hz. I always had another displayport cable that I tried with no improvement. It appears to be a certified...

Monoprice 4k monitor stuck at 30 Hz with DisplayPort

I have been having this issue on and off since I got the monitor. I have gotten the monitor to produce 60 hz over the displayport before. For the last few days, it has been stuck at 30 hz. Usually I can reset the computer, or go to the display adapter properties and reset to 60 hz. Now none of...

    Random Shut Downs while Gaming

Temps during Prime95 are around 85, borderlands upper 50's maybe 60's. Ive had all my monitoring stuff open on another screen while playing games and the temps and load while playing games never reaches anything near stress testing levels. Gonna run a prime95 blend here for a while and see what...

    Random Shut Downs while Gaming

Saw something on another site about not getting enough power TO your actual computer. It said to check your power strip to see if it was tripped due to a recent outage. I went and checked mine and realized something. I had two power strips plugged into one outlet. One strip was running a...

    Random Shut Downs while Gaming

My computer keeps shutting down while I am gaming. I thought I had fixed the issue by reverting back to Catalyst 13.9 and everything was fine while I was playing borderlands 2. Now I started messing around in Skyrim again and am getting the shut downs again. I will play for about 5-10 mins...

Games Crashing after playing for a few minutes

I feel pretty confident in saying the problem ended up being the graphics driver. I tried 14.2, 14.1, & 13.12 and all resulted in complete shutdowns of my computer after playing games for about 10 mins. Went back to 13.9 and everything has been fine. Played for over a half hour each of the last...

Games Crashing after playing for a few minutes

I have tried just about everything I can think of at this point. I have a stable overclock at 4.2 Ghz, tested with OCCT. Let a memtest run over night and that turned up nothing. I watch my temps while playing games and I dont see anything nearly as high when I am stress testing on the CPU or Vid...

Games Crashing after playing for a few minutes

I reset my BIOS. It may have reset itself after I updated the BIOS. I went back in and set the XMP profile again. Maybe my RAM was doing something weird. I restored optimized defaults before I started adding settings back, so we will see what happens when I get a chance to test it again.
