Hi guys I have a fx6350 on a ga-970a-ud3 REV3.0 mobo and it has been giving me a hard time of late as in hard drives not showing up in windows, also it will no longer apply any overclock either ram or cpu... could it be the motherboard or power supply(750w powercool 80 plus) I know I cheaped out...

if there is a specific game you want to play just Google " can i run it" and it will analyze your system and give you a result

Agree with Xttony as far as im aware a motherboard should auto underclock your ram .

Thanks beefy will check out asus mobos I have a gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 Rev 3.0 atm with fx6350...had 2 sticks running at 1866 but with 4 1600 is the best i can manage with it able to boot .

hey guys I have just added an extra 2 sticks of ram totalling 4 but can only run at 1600mhz not the 1866mhz i was previously at? Just been reading this is common with amd fx processor so am i flogging a dead horse trying to make this run at 1866 ??
