The adapter could be the issues or your GPU is dying, can you post some pictures?

Did you try removing your GPU and connecting the monitor to Motherboard video output? Does it even show BIOS or not? I've seen someone with the same issue some days ago.

Try removing everything except CPU and RAM and see if you can access BIOS.

Does your keyboard light up or in any way indicate that it's connected? Try pressing F2 instead. You could also try to clear the CMOS. Check if you have connected the 8 pin and 24 pin cables correctly. It could also be RAM related problem, check if your RAM is supported by your new motherboard...

How old are your PSU and HDD? I had a problem where my HDD caused my GPU to underperform and crash.

Could be PSU related or overheating, try to monitor the GPU/CPU temp when you play some demanding game.

Could it be what the "DirectX" error says that the GPU has been physically removed if the PCIx slot is damaged, should I try the other one?
