    Thanks. If things don't remain stable I'll give the CX450 a try. It seems to be running well now. I was amazed at what came off the inside with some compressed air. Dust sure does collect in these things!

    Thanks. I'm suspicious of the PSU as it wasn't turning the side fan until I nudged it... Makes me think it wasn't putting out enough current to spool up the small fan. That or it was stuck with dust. Who knows??? I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days to see if the problem presents...

    Looks like you are correct. I pulled the CPU from another PC which works fine in the new build. Seems things start up and keep going. This tells me that everything works but the new CPU i3 is not compatible. Now to determine how to flash the mobo... Any help?
