I ran Avast, Malwarebytes and Comodo antivirus and nothing came up. The CPU still pegs to 100% usage after I start the computer up for the first time that day and persists until I restart.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not but either way not helpful. It didn't start happening until after I rebuilt my system and only happens intermittently so I was kind of wondering if it's hardware related and I highly doubt I got a virus in that short period since I have comodo real...

I've already done that as stated in my post, nothing is using a unusual amount of CPU. I tried diabling CCleaner on start up since I saw online it can cause high CPU usage on startup but it didn't help. I'm at a loss here.

Hello everyone, I just rebuilt my computer and everything seemed fine at first, but now sometimes when I boot my computer up it runs slow and I noticed my CPU usage pegged at 100% for the first couple of minutes. It's not overheating, the temp never goes above 40c. The CPU usage then goes down...
