A lot of people also love having their PCs lit up. Seems like stuck2fixlaptops is one of those people. I don't think there's anything wrong with encouraging others to try something you yourself enjoy, in the hopes that they'll get enjoyment out of it too.

I appreciate that many people like illumination on and in their towers, i'm just not one of those people.

I really don't like my PC to be illuminated. My PC is surrounded by a metal bracket and attached to the underside of my sit/stand desk. The bracket blocks the view of the side window, so with RGB i'd only get the illumination, but not the actual enjoyment of what the inside looks like.
