now I know x470 doesn't fully support pcie 4.0 however I was informed that it would let you run gen 4 at a lesser speed 10gt/s

okay so I reinstalled the card and it is at x16 now but still 8 gt/s ryzen 9 3900x msi x470 gaming m7 ac

in cpuz it says my gpu is at pcie gen 4 x8 8gt/s but also says max supported x16 16gt/s even under full load it does not change is there anything I can do about this?

after a hard reset the issue has disappeared

in at least 3 of my games enabling HDR makes the game really dark and oversaturated games include cyberpunk 2077, ghost recon breakpoint, watch dogs legion even in game overlays appear almost too dark to read and hypersaturated actually all of my hdr games are doing this when they didn't before.

I flashed the bios and it fixed my issues for now
