To add, the author is now writing about tech that's created by a "race" of people instead of a nation, its very odd. I doubt that's his intent but that's what it seems like when Taiwan is for whatever reason included in a list about Chinese tech.

Taiwan is not a part of China. Words need to mean something. The equivalent of what the author is writing in China would be like "Movies made by White people"

XiaoMi is China's Apple. The quality of this panel will most likely be better than it's competitors. Also... you're unlikely to be able to get one as XiaoMi likes to hype and then only have a very limited amount to sell, and then they stall and wait for manufacturing prices to come down and then...

great article. i'm still running a e7400 @ 3.4ghz, waiting until Haswell to upgrade.

i just put in a corsair m4 on my system with P35 mobo and core 2 e7400 and it was certainly worth it I used to get choppiness in various console ports such as tomb raider but it's gone now.
