Gigabyte’s WindForce Has The Fury In It: First Custom PCB R9 Fury Revealed

I remember seeing a figure for the Fury X pump and it was something like 400W of possible dissipation. It cools the VRM too which is really nice.

    Corsair RM750x PSU Review

I'll shut up now. I thought the AXi was SuperFlower which is the stem of my confusion

    Corsair RM750x PSU Review

Did you even LOOK at the article? The only problem with these are the Sinopowers on the secondary side, and that's not even a "bad" thing. Oh and btw, some of the best power supplies in the world are Superflower OEMs produced by Corsair.

    Corsair RM750x PSU Review

I've been promoting these for a while, it's nice to see Tom's do an article on them. The only reason these are Gold rated is because they just miss the Platinum rating at 20%. They have a 650x as well that's a little cheaper.

Gigabyte’s WindForce Has The Fury In It: First Custom PCB R9 Fury Revealed

Yes a radiator is more effective, airflow is focused and isn't constrained. The grill on a video card is typically a small cutout in one of the PCI-e bays. Heat passing through the heat-sink and into the case would work better than trying to pass air through the PCI-e bay. Air doesn't hit the...

Another Monoblock For An MSI Motherboard From EKWB

    ■ EKWB makes really nice products and I think this looks better than the tacky gamer heat-sinks on the XPOWER board. If CPU throughput is important to you the combination of this water block and the 60A choke, 14 power-phase design from MSI with DrMOS power delivery is the best option available...

Gigabyte’s WindForce Has The Fury In It: First Custom PCB R9 Fury Revealed

AMD introduces a card with a focus on small-form factor performance and people do this. Wtf? Do people just not understand the point of design anymore?

Zotac Announces Premium Edition SSD With Mainstream Performance

Phison/MLC seems to be the new fad. Let's be honest though, nobody is really competing with Samsung, Intel and Micron at this point.

ASRock Z97M OC Formula Motherboard Review

This is one of my favorite motherboards. Extremely good quality and probably the best value you can get for the Z97 chipset.

Water-Cooled SSDs Are A Thing Now, As EKWB Launches 750 Series Water Block

The SM951s had overheating issues but the 950 Pro solves this problem with 3D V-NANDS. I've never heard of anybody having heat issues with the Intel 750, especially considering Intel already supplies it with a heat sink and thermal pads. I wish I had so much money I was considering silly stuff...

    Is a 120-240GB SSD enough?

I find 512GB to be the sweet-spot. 256GB for a conservative user. <250 usually isn't worth the cost. My recommendation is an MX200 or a Samsung 850 EVO, the Phison controller on the Neutron is fast but the reliability and performance of the Micron / Samsung drives are much better.
