thanks for the reply....at the moment i only play one online game (HD) which i`m pretty sure isn`t that taxing but it can cause the fan to run faster at times, the fan speeds up when watching films online aswell....even SD stuff and it`s too loud....not sure if this is because the card is old or...

hello, i`ve just been in bios and my temps are set the same as in the link you gave me on your initial reply, "cpu fan fully on if cpu temp is more than 50c" and "turn off if cpu temp is less than 25c" witch are both changeable, the cooler fan that`s on now is pwm and speeds up and slows down...

ahh ok, so this is suggesting there is no fan control or possible "fan error" i`m going to get, and if anything its temps that will need changing.... looks like the initial link you gave me with status page has the option to change temp if i do get some kind of error, hopefully i can just change...

hello, i`m pretty much a total novice but i`m wanting to have a go at upgrading my heatsink/fan myself, i`m replacing a Zalman cnps9900a blue led with new Noctua NH-U14s, i`ve been looking at user reviews and a few are saying they are getting "cpu fan error" after fitting with the Noctua fans...
