When i increase my network traffic my mouse skips! It's very very annoying, worst when streaming large files on the home network or transferring files through the home network. When the load is less i.e. downloading from the internet this happens much less frequently. e6850 @3.8ghz netgear...

I think my high temps were a function of ambient temperature, since the weather has cooled down now I have about 3 or 4 degrees cooler temps. I decided to go to 1.6v and 4.0ghz here's a screenshot. she lasts for about 10 mins in prime95 but i can game for hours.

So i reseated my HSF and the results are not that different: e6850 at 3.8ghz 1.475v set in bios 1.41v on load as per speedfan/cpuz when ambient is 22C : idle is 33C : load is 57C when ambient is 29C : idle is 39C : load is 64C does this seem like the right temps for an antec nine hundred...

Update: I'm set to 3.8ghz (422x9) and 1.475 vcore in bios and speedfan/cpuz are showing drop to 1.41-1.42 while stressing temps in core temp are now 33 idle and 56-58 stress

out of curiosity are you guys measuring your temps with speedfan?

I also had this question and am tracking back in the forums looking for which card to buy. The only thing that seems to go for the x2900xt is that it should have more longevity because the drivers are still not really optimized - whereas the 8800gts has mature drivers. Does anyone know have...
