maybe my terminology is off so im making it confusing... basically my asus router is downstairs connected to modem, i want to put my netgear wndr3400 upstairs and have it wirelessly pick up the wifi signal from the downstairs router... i then want to wire my PC into the upstairs router in order...

ok so i have an asus rt-n66r and a netgear n600 wndr3400 .. ( asus is main router) I want to setup the netgear on the network and put it upstairs to extend the wireless network, hopefully more effectively, and i want it wirelessly connected. They both have WPS buttons on them but I'm unsure...
