Even my i7 920 can get over half the performance in games as my i9 10920X and i7 10700KF systems @1440 for gaming; so was wanting to use my i7 980X which has much higher clock speed with this card.

So pretty righteously pissed at this point; same issue on two X58 motherboards (EVGA SLI/i7 920 and Asus Rampage III/i7 980X); black screen after bios splash; dispayport does not work at all and I have to use hdmi to get to bios screen; after bios however, black screen and windows never loads...

Honestly I stopped using DLSS and raytracing; the former looks worse than native and the latter makes it look like vaseline got smeared allover the games. In either case one can see that "The Emperor's New Clothes" fable was more of a primer on humans self inflicted idealized blinders.

Sure kid. That's why only Asus boards die. I've built dozens of systems; and only the Asus ones have ever had motherboard issues like this on a recurring basis.

With Asus customer service and quality control; quantified by their recent blatant dishonesty in screwing customers out of their warranty to fix a detonating motherboard situation that Asus themselves created...definitely look at this as a polished turd. Would go with Steam any day of the week...
