Question Random BSODs (volmgr 161 followed by kernel 41 error id)

Quick update, my ram test didn't yield any results because it booted without that ram without any problems, then i stuck it back in, and it booted again with no problems. I've been sitting here for half an hour without bsods. I did notice something important though, that is, the same error that...

Question Random BSODs (volmgr 161 followed by kernel 41 error id)

Hi everyone, for the last week I have been having increasingly more frequent BSODs. At first it was like once a week or so, I thought it was random, so brushed it off. Then it started to be more frequent like once a day or so. I noticed it happened during gaming so I thought maybe it has to do...

[SOLVED] Can't get any video on new built PC

Okay, thank you. One more question: If I do have a compatible motherboard, will the motherboard give me video output? even without a gpu? Just so I narrow it down in case I get no image again this time with a compatible board for real?

[SOLVED] Can't get any video on new built PC

Thanks for the reply. This is crazy, the tech giant website of my country lists this motherboard as compatible with this cpu, I double checked it right now to make sure, it's definitely listed as compatible. I don't understand, is it not enough for the motherboard socket to be compatible with...

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

So you're saying I can use a usb to sata adapter to get past the repair loop maybe? Then I can try the other usual steps (chkdsk scannow etc.) to fix the issue? Is that correct? My main issue is that whenever I plug this drive in, the pc doesn't boot no matter what I do, I can't launch safe...

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

SkyNetRising thanks so much, I tried the hot plug thing but I don't think I can boot while hot plug is enabled because it requires AHCI setting on the drives and then my boot drive becomes useless. Thanks anyway, unless I'm missing a way? I need to somehow repair the file system on that drive...

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

Thanks, I switched the cables between the SSDs, and the C drive will boot regardless of cable, and E will always be broken regardless of cable. I also tried different ports, C seems to be booting up in all ports. That is true, I get what you're saying but wouldn't I have experienced more...

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

But why would that cause the bios to not recognize any other drives that are connected? The external drive or the other ssd that has no problems whatsoever are also ignored. If I boot up together with E, it's like nothing is connected to any ports. Dead drives do that? As soon as I remove E...

[SOLVED] Motherboard does not see SSDs

Hello guys. I have an "old-ish" motherboard nowadays, I think I got it in 2015 or 2016. It served flawlessly over the years but lately I have been having problems whenever I move the PC case around, something inside would pop out or slightly lose connection and suddenly I can't boot anymore or...

    [SOLVED] Is my mobo dying?

Thanks both for your help! I couldn't get to do what you suggested with the command prompt, because the issue disappeared. Everything is working fine now. I took out the old drive and moved the stuff on it to a new ssd. It's been around 4 days, with no freezing issues. I think you stand...
