Well, with that in mind, i might just opt for 2nd hand system similar to mine to bridge the gap till a real upgrade makes more sense, i'm not displeased with my 920 yet, i just need it to be in another room (too) :p . Thanks for your insight.

The UW is connected through HDMI, i have 2 displayports and a DVI available on top of that. I'm mainly worried about driver settings, like the drivers forcing the UW to be limited to 1920x1080, or games defaulting to one of the "small" monitors instead of the UW and being unable to reassign...
