    I5 760 + Asus P7P55D-E Pro Unstable (Please Help)

Hi all, I apologize in advance. I am new to this...I recently built my first build and I am running the stability tests suggested in the step-by-step building guide on Tom's forum. I ran memtest85+ ( 10 passes, no errors). However, when I run Prime95 it only takes a minute or two for all core...

I am running a i5-750 with a P7P55D-E Pro. i would like to run a pair mushkins, 2 sets of (2x) 8gb total 1600 and CAS 7 I am planning to OC the CPU, so would it be better to just stick with 4GB (2x2) and not get the additional 4 GB...

    Difference between Two 4GB ( 2x2) and one 4GB(2x4)

Hi, I am wondering what the difference is between purchasing two sets of 4GB (2x2) (4 sticks total) and and one set of 4GB(2x4) (2 stick total). Given that all else is the same.... Purchasing two 4GB (2x2) (4 sticks total) of the type of memory I am looking at is much cheaper on Newegg than...

    December "slightly-better-than-budget" Gaming PC

just a heads up... you can get the i5 760 cheaper at newegg than microcenter until friday. Newegg has a i5 760 for $175. With microcenter, you get tax, which comes out to a total of about 180 - 185 depending on where you live.

    $1200 Gaming Build

Not to mention mobos and memory get expensive with the i7... If you stay with the i5, take a look at this memory, slightly higher voltage, but you shouldn't see a performance difference. Mushkin is as reputable as G.Skills. $13 cheaper though. (I am currently building a machine very similar to...

    Mushkin vs. G.Skills

Thanks for all the info everyone! If there is not a substantial difference in performance, I'll likely go with the higher voltage Mushkin for $13 cheaper. However, Noctura did get back to me letting me know the G.Skill ECO series is compatible with the Noctura Cooler... @Jaquith - I greatly...

    Mushkin vs. G.Skills

Hi, I am finishing a new build and I am wondering about 2 potential memory options. (Please excuse me, I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to memory except for the basics... lower timings, better, lower voltage, better). The G.Skills was recommended to me. However, I am not completely...

    Gaming PC Build: Need Help!

This was kind of my justification for the x2 GTX 460 now... I could get a good 5870 or these x2 460s for around the same price. At the rate I upgrade (every 4-5 years), it may be tough to find the same speed 5870 or I might be looking for a bigger improvement than the addition of a 5870. With...
