I was thinking r7 3700x because i want a processor that will last me a few years, as for the rams, you think swapping 32 gigs of slow for 16 of faster would be worth it?

I feel like my graphics card is the only good item i have rn, my processor is really old and every game i play maxes it to 100% while my gpu is at 50% max, do you think its not worth swapping cpu without swapping graphics too?
