[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 60 degrees while idle and in bios

Hi again, quick update I managed to get some free time and switched the 3 deepcool fans to be intake and the 2 fractal fans in the back corner as exhaust and I got the cpu idle temp down to 49 degrees. Thanks again for your help!

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 60 degrees while idle and in bios

Thanks for solving my problem by the way, but I wanted to ask one more question. I've been hearing about the removal of the stock cooler ripping amd cpus straight out of the socket and often times bending some pins and is there anything I should do before removing my cooler to prevent that from...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 60 degrees while idle and in bios

I think what my plan will be is to put the 3 deepcool fans in the front and have 1 fractal fan at the back and one in the top position closest to that back fan. I do realize what your saying since I've put my hand over the top of the case above the top fan closest to the front of the case and...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 60 degrees while idle and in bios

I have 2 of them in the front, 1 in the back, and the 2 included fractal design fans up top (and yes the 2 in the front are intake and the rest are exhaust). I'm pretty sure they run at around 1400-1500 rpm the last time I checked. Is it possible that I didnt install the cooler correctly? I'm...

[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 60 degrees while idle and in bios

Hi all, so I've been noticing my fans ramping up and down louder and more often than usual lately, and I take a look at the bios and it tells me that my cpu (Ryzen 5 3600) is running at 60 degrees. When I first built this pc a few months ago I was sitting closer to 50 degrees in the bios looking...

[SOLVED] Star Wars Battlefront 2 horrid load times even with SSD

Yeah I'd say try that first, but honestly I'm just at a loss at this point mate, never seen this happen to me at all. Good luck, and may the force be with you.

[SOLVED] Star Wars Battlefront 2 horrid load times even with SSD

Lol loading any game on a hard drive in a minute is something I haven't heard very often. Also remember some maps are much larger and require more assets to be loaded Ex: The MC85 is a really small map but Mos Eisley, Geonosis, and Scarif are huge.

    [SOLVED] New pc or upgrade

General Kenobi, you are a bold one. I wasn't suggesting the 3060 ultra or whatever their calling it over the 3060 ti since I'm pretty sure its been confirmed that the 3060 ti will be faster than the upcoming 3060, I was simply suggesting to wait and see the difference in performance. If the non...

[SOLVED] Star Wars Battlefront 2 horrid load times even with SSD

Try running task manager or something like that next time your in game and see if anything is hogging your performance. Also, if your running at ultra or high settings it will have some impact on your load times compared to low or medium. Honestly though 1 minute still isn't that bad from my...

[SOLVED] Jump the Gun on Ryzen 5000 or Wait for Rocket Lake?

Interesting, I hadn't seen that before. Maybe this will finally bring Intel back into consideration. If this is true, which is of course unconfirmed that would make Intel a solid contender, but if your not into gaming and instead editing or content creation I would still say Ryzen.

[SOLVED] Jump the Gun on Ryzen 5000 or Wait for Rocket Lake?

If you've seen any articles written about rocket lake so far Ryzen 5000 is still faster. Honestly, don't buy parts now since everything is overpriced and by the time the market has become stable again Rocket Lake will probably be out and you will be able to find more detailed benchmarks...

[SOLVED] Moving components to new case

I didn't take any precautions on my current build other than grounding myself before I touched each new component and it's running just fine so you really don't need one. Just only touch the motherboard in places where your finger oils won't get on the board itself, like your cooler or the rear...

    [SOLVED] PC Parts, any good?

I can personally vouch for minecraft, as I have a 1660 super which is way lower powered than the 5700xt and I can get 120-150 fps at 1440p with all particles/animations on with almost every shaders that I run (besides continuum but it's continuum so that's justified), so with your 5700xt and at...

    [SOLVED] New pc or upgrade

I'd just upgrade the GPU if I were you but don't do it now because stock is extremely low and prices are extremely high. You may be able to get a 3060 ti if you keep an eye out, but the upcoming 3060 12gb may be something you'd consider as well. If you do want to build fresh, I would still say...
