When reading the manual, it says This means, to me anyway, that you cannot have 2 SSD M.2 NVMe drives. Only the first M.2 slot supports a SSD NVMe drive. The second one only allows a NVMe PCI Express.

Adding my fix in case someone like me ends up here looking for the issue... mine was also the cable not fully inserted, but on the monitor end, not the video card. So basically, check both ends by pushing them in fully.

Well, if you have the Z270 SLI, it doesn't have that feature, nor the Audio Boost. The Z270 SLI PLUS does.

Time for a new gaming PC. Last one I built for home was October 2014. While looking at cases on the market, only a handful have a front facing Type-C port. Cell phones are predominantly made with Type-C USB ports now. Mine is, so is my tablet. And it won't be long before Type-C memory sticks...

Hi there... more than likely it is indeed a bad SSD. Anything with IO errors usually have to do with disk drives, even with DVD/CD drives. Did you check if there is a newer firmware for your SSD?

Seems to me the BIOS is corrupted. You could try restoring it, check your manual >> "2.1.3 ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 utility"
