I just did what you suggested and checked all the connections. Yes, all the power plugs are connected same with the 4-pin ATX but still doing the same thing. Although, when I checked, I have two 4-pin ATX 12v plug. Maybe because I have an onboard VGA connection?

What I did was remove the gpu and the 6 slot connector connected to it,cleaned it with a toothbrush then I unscrewed the fan of the heat sink without removing the connector of the fan. Then I placed everything back. Now my monitor turns on but then goes into blank screen like when it is in sleep...

I'm not sure about the make and model but I do know that it has an onboard vga connection. I tried to remove the gpu and connected the monitor to the vga but it still does the same thing. There are no extra beeps by the way.

Oww. All I did was unscrew it then cleaned the fans. I screwed it back to the heat sink and when I turn the cpu on the fans of both the card and heat sink work.

Pardon me but are you referring to the cable that needs to be connected to the gpu. Mine has 6 slots and yes it is connected. I also reseated the ram and the gpu but to no avail. If I short-circuited my card, can it still be fixed? Thanks again.
