    Yes the internet works fine. I can look for QoS settings but recall those only being used to determine which devices get priority of bandwidth - not restricting devices.

    Yes, I agree with that except the laptop can access the router from both wireless networks as a call to 192.168.1.1 brings up the router configuration. Just a call to the NAS IP address fails on 5Ghz but succeeds on 2.4Ghz. The IP address for the NAS is 192.168.1.170. I cannot reach it or...

    It is. When I try to access the QNAP over the wireless network from a laptop, though, I can only access it when I am on the 2.4 network.
