You said it would be a desktop replacement, you can build a decent desktop for $400 and be able to do everything you said you wanted to, except it is a desktop

You will struggle to find a laptop at that price point to play those games, you would be better off getting a desktop and then a cheaper laptop if you really need one, or look for a used one

Have you tried them in the A1 and B1 slots?

For the biggest noticeable increase in performance get an SSD, it will make load times of any games on it quicker, as well as boot time and just make it feel snappier

What is wrong with the EVGA PSU you've got on the pcpartpicker list now? Because to me it looks to be of similar spec and is from a reputible brand, at a cheaper price even without the rebate
