How to make my computer recognize my graphics card?

What make and model is your PSU? You need to make sure your PSU can handle the power requirements of your gtx 780. Also, make sure that the graphics card is properly seated on you motherboard's PCIE slot, and that your PSU' PCIE power cables are properly connected to the card.

HIS R9 290? Decent Card or Junk?

$350 for an R9 290 is a great deal. If you find yourself troubled by the heat issues, you can try lapping the heatsink later on (and of course, replacing the thermal compound). Temps can improve by about 10 C accdg to this...

cheapest CPU to fit 560 SLI

yes, the i5-2500 has the same socket as your i3-2100. Though I'd say since you have a z68 chipset, go for an i5-2500k to make it a bit more future-proof (since it is OC enabled), or an i5-3570k (but this will require an updated BIOS for your mobo, totally doable while you have your i3-2100).

4770k temps in high 30's on idle

You also have to take into account the ambient temps of those guys who were reporting mid-20's. Your ambient temps most probably are higher than theirs. People seem to forget this, it's one of the biggest factors in your CPU temps.

Does Dell n5420 with i7-3612QM and HM77 express chipset support 16gb RAM?

Yes, you're good to go. The HM77 chipset does support 16GB of RAM, but notebooks usually have just two slots of RAM. So if you're buying the laptop with a 2x4GB configuration, you would have to replace both RAM modules with a 2x8 kit to up your total RAM capacity. On the other hand, if you're...

Inadvertantly turned power on whilst building PC (with no heatsink). Has it survived?

Yeah, CPUs have thermal fail-safes built into them. I don't quite understand though, how were you able to "turn your PC on" without a motherboard? And what's preventing you from trying to boot it up properly to test whether your CPU still works?

Will the i5 3350p be able to max out Watch dogs, Tes online, BF4 and kingdom come deliverance ?

For Watch Dogs, according to the recommended specs (8-core AMD or i7 intel), your i5 might bottleneck your system. As Mciahel said, it seems Watch Dogs will be a CPU intensive game. For a lot of the other games though, your i5 will be enough.

GTA IV Lagging on brand new Dell Inspiron 17R 2GB Dedicated Graphics

Some things you might want to check: 1. Have you updated your graphics drivers to the latest ones? 2. Make sure you're plugged in when you're playing (and set it to High Performance mode), since a lot of notebooks gimp the CPU and GPU performance when on battery. 3. You might want to use patch...

Why Can't I Reduce Partition Size of C for more than 455GB?

To the OP, most of the answers posted here are quite safe, in the sense that you will be able to partition your drive successfully. The only point I'm trying to push here is that after the partitioning, you'll most probably end up with a win8.1 environment that works, but without the...

Why Can't I Reduce Partition Size of C for more than 455GB?

I've tried defragmentation couple of times, but no use. Yes, I've 2 small partitions in the Disk Management Tool area, I think one of them is EFI as well, they're like 400Mb or so. OK How about I do this. 1). If I DO NOT Change the above 2 small boot as well as the recovery partitions, 2)...
