Bought a new CPU that should be compatible according to PCPartpicker, (AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core) installed it, same result. I’m not even sure what to do with this aside from just throw this away and buy a pre-built one at this point.

I took my PC to a professional and it was determined that the CPU is bad. Guess I’ll just have to warranty it. What are the chances of it arriving dead??

I’ll update on that when I can get a monitor. I’ll keep trying anything in the meantime too.

I don’t have another GPU but I can get a proper monitor soon to test that out? I didn’t realize a TV would be an issue. :(

Just tried this. I unplugged the SSD completely and left it on for a few minutes. No change.

Yes, I followed a tutorial and it seemed to work as they described.

I tried updating the motherboard to the latest version. I updated it with a USB. It seemed to work, motherboard came on, reset itself, the works. I don’t have a compatible CPU available and I can’t afford to buy another unless I absolutely have to

The only problem I saw for compatibility was that the Motherboard needed to be updated, and I updated it via USB already. Could it be that even with the update it’s still not compatible?
