    SATA Hard Drive is Recieving Power, but the BIOS claims it is "Not Present."

    I have been building a pc, and thus far everything has worked. The graphics card, RAM, CPU, BIOS, etc, all are fine. When I go into the BIOS, it says "Sata Port X: Not Present" I have touched the hard drive - it feels warm, and is buzzing. It also does not register when I enter Windows 8.1...

    The problem is, currently the hard drive won't register on this computer. I was thinking it could potentially be the drivers, as I plugged the drive into another computer and it worked fine.
