Have you looked at yate loons blade shape? Thats sorta whats unique about noctua. IMHO it doesnt matter if theyre made at the same factory in asia if they aren't the same design. Noctua FTW or for cheaper Scythe. EDIT Antec Tri Cools suck I hate mine EDIT

ummm ok fyi "widescreen" on cpus is considered to be a resolution which has an aspect ratio of 16:10 so for every 16 of the first number 3080 there should be 10 of the second number 1024 so thats not actually widescreen you might be thinking of 2560x1600 aka dell 30" monitor

cooling of voltage capacitors is usually not largely necessary unless your running at non stock voltages but there are other ways to cool them such as small heatsink fan combos etc. Now to get the heat off those pipes you could zip tie a small 40mm fan to the heatsink(s). I couldn't find...

There are a lot of aftermarket chipset cooling solutions which sounds like would solve a lot. Unfortunately they aren't as cheap as fans. Once again Noctua makes an active one, Thermalright has the HR-02 SLI which is passive. Chipset coolers can get high priced so its all what you feel...

Did you run thorough virus scans? Also use ctrl alt del to close processess that are running right before you play. And Pentium Ds are great overclockers so if your stepdad wants to prolong until he spends cash but an upgrade is in the near future aka life expectancy doesn't matter crank it up...

Not trying to sound condescending but the way that 3d graohics work is that they will only go as fast as your processor. Therefore your running two 600$ video cards in SLI with a 2.8 Celeron D your graphics will suck. It will only run as fast as your processor allows. Your stepdad should pick up...
