My ram score definitely improved with more ram but it's still only ddr3 so it's pretty much just gonna be low, also my disk score isnt great either but for now it plays good. My next build is (hopefully) going to be a Ryzen 7 3700x with an rtx 2070 or 2080.

Solved my issue. Dirty cpu cooler. Gave it a solid cleaning and seems much better now. Still going to strip it and reapply new paste but works great now

It was 2x4 and I just added in my 2x8 so now I'm at 24gb. The new ram made a huge improvement in my test scores. My 6350 is on the factory 4.2 oc and I have no ambition to push it further at the moment 😉

Got my issue fixed, turns out it was the low amount of RAM. I added 16gb to make it 24gb total and went from 2600 to 8000. Seeing your stats make me sad because my rating is only 2666 / 57th percentile lol

On Passmarks performace test you can compare to other people's pc that took the same tests. You can search by cpu or for PC's with the same cpu and gpu and it shows how they scored on each individual test. My cpu was toward the top of the ratings of the FX-6350's but my gpu (gtx1060 6gb) at 2600...

Psu is a 650w "dual rail" psu I believe GPU temps looked normal but I'll check it again tonight.

Thank you for all the information! I'll do my research tonight. I know the FX is meh at best but it's what I've got until I build a ryzen pc hopefully next year. Thanks for the recommendation on the cooler, I'll probably end up ordering the cooler regardless because my stock cooler is an on top...

Thanks, I'll probably give that a try. If I'm going to pull the fan to reapply then I might just pick up a new cpu cooler as well. Maybe a hyper 212 evo or similar for the $35

I've planned out a build but it's going to be atleast a year before it's in the budget. Currently it plays games great but it just rates low on the test, even when compared to the exact same cpu and gpu combo

Asus M5A97 2.0 mobo I've been satisfied with the performance on the cpu for how much I have into it and I'm planning a new build in a year or 2 but its out of the budget this year.

Yes it tests them all but my cpu rates in the high end of the same cpu. You can compare other benchmarked PC's with the same cpu and same gpu and my gpu is still rated well under extremely similar builds.

AMD FX-6350 with (unsure of name/brand of cooler at the moment) a single fan cpu cooler. Every once in a while when gaming on Beam.ng or something intense, my pc will randomy turn off. I tap the power button and bolt to bios and see my cpu temp is at 72⁰c. Is it possible my cpu is overheating...
