I bought my R9 280x back when it was $300 and now I am seeing them sell used for $450 so I want to sell it but is that a good idea? What could I replace it with that wouldn't cause too much of a performance loss?

I agree with maurelie about the CPU cooler and you might as well stick with the 550w PSU. Also do you already have RAM sticks?

I need a new gaming headset for roughly $50 with no specific requirements though it will be used primarily on FPS games. I was looking at the G230/G430 but am not sure how good those are. And if possible I want it to be red to match my case but it doesn't matter much.
