Intel Hates Cables, VR Edition: A Wireless VR Demo

They said it supports 60hz right now. I think they need to get that up to 90

Unknown Gaming Rig Given to Me, But I want to upgrade my GPU, will it bottle neck?

AMD just can't hang with Intel. Save up for it, it is worth it. I suggest i7, not i5. Especially if aiming for 100+ fps. Newer games benefit from hyper threading more than many people think. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aW85piahc38 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s42gvVS77dU i7 5820k is a good...

    MSI vs ASUS GTX 1070

Asus. Better quality on the Strix, made by machines. Less chance for human error, more likely to be consistent build quality. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4gRpuurPsuc

    Help I don't know what I did

Looking at those I think you may have unplugged some of your cases wires. They connect your case power button to your board, among other things. The thing is there are several and they need to go in the right spots. They should be marked and your motherboard manual should have a diagram for...

    Help I don't know what I did

OK try to get some shots of the center and edges of the board with detail. Like center top, center right, center bottom, center left. Need to see the headers (cable plugins) all over the board as clearly as possible. Can't see much in that pic except your CPU heat sink and CPU fan header which...

    Help I don't know what I did

You might need to post some pics then. Could be near the top of the board CPU power slot, the 24 pin main board power, or some thing else. Need to see it if possible, with close-ups if you can.

    Help I don't know what I did

You may have unplugged your graphics card from the power supply. Is there squarish/rectangle 4, 6, or 8 pin slot on the side of your graphics card? If so, look for the cable from the power supply that would fit it. Sometimes you have to hold the cables together to fit the six pin or eight pin...

    Help I don't know what I did

Relax , grab a small flashlight, and look around for a disconnected cable. Look for where it ought to fit, most cables physically can't be plugged in somewhere they shouldn't be. Just to be safe, report back any cables you see disconnected with their size/shape/characteristics.

msi gtx 1070 gaming x VS sea hawk

Interesting. I have only seen one review on guru3d for the Sea hawk. The only other info I've found is user reviews... which are typically people just happy whatever they bought turns on when they get it. If that is true about db levels I may just get the Strix instead. Hmm... guru3d is saying...

msi gtx 1070 gaming x VS sea hawk

I know a lot of people think there is little point to an AIO on a graphics card, but I like the idea. I have read that these cards can thermal throttle, especially the 1080. AIO will probably eliminate that possibility entirely. More to the point for me, though, is that they are quieter with an...

How To Install A Waterblock On A Nvidia GTX 1080

To those asking why watercool a 1070/1080 The 1080 throttles with the stock cooler. Aftermarket fans and coolers are better than the reference cooler but most blow air back into your case. Both cards run cooler and quieter with water coolers. Personally I will pay extra for that. I'm eyeballing...
