I recently got a R7 370, and i do believe that my cpu, an A6-5400K, is bottlenecking the GPU severely. I am in need of a cpu within $150, and i have the choice of the A10-7870K, or the FX-6300 and motherboard. Which should i get, or maybe a 3rd option?

Will copper and brass in the same loop cause corrosion. I know the whole dont mix metals concept, but this seems like a unavoidable and possible issue.

^ Sapphire in this case WILL NOT have the better cooler, as the two companies use the same Asetek style cooler, however still get the Sapphire card.

System goes through POST, and video only comes out the GPU outputs. Yes, i have my BIOS up to date, actually updated today to try and solve the problem.

yup, its just like that, just locks at its set frequency. Im sure that something like the GPU BOOST didnt come along until like fermi or kepler, which didnt come along until years later.

Finished benching on Furmark 1.15.1.0 on 1280x720 benchmark, top is with streams disabled, bottom is streams enabledhttp://imgur.com/a/Mb1WB. Maybe i got lucky with a batch of streams not laser-locked properly?

Not as far as i can tell, i have rivatuner, so i'm going to see if i can deactivate the cluster, and get a score for the disabled cluster in something like furmark
