problem fixed in amd 12.9 beta driver. - Enabling Overdrive settings increased clocks in all power states thanks guys.

CCC on + Balanced power mode = High CPU clock on idle CCC off + Balanced power mode = Normal CPU clock on idle My solution: CCC on + Power Saver Mode = Normal CPU clock on idle now is it ok to keep the power saver mode? how about the gaming performance do you think the power mode will affect it?

and also i tried the cpu minimum state at 5% for balanced power mode still the clock stays at the highest when idle.

i just unlocked the shaders to 1536 but not the clock speed so my hd 6950 is running with 1536 shaders @800/1250. if 1.99v reading is just a software error how about 1.342v is this voltage safe for my gpu?

My Powercolor HD 6950(unlocked shader/stock speed 800/1250) reached the VDDC of 1.342v to 1.99v in gpu-z, VDDC is the gpu voltage right? im not sure if this is safe or not what i've read the gpu safe voltage is 1.2 then why my card reached 1.99v. Or maybe unlocking the shaders also increasing...
