Don't worry about NB frequency, it's too complicated. Just boot into the bios and check if the ram frequency, voltages and timings match the specs of the ram.

Recently I got a problem with my computer which caused it not make it past post, resulting in a blank screen and a beep code for bad ram modules. So I cleaned the ram with an eraser, the slots with a brush and tried again but it still didn't work. I repeated this process with each stick of ram...

It turns out you have to use driver sweeper to remove all nvidia installations, then reinstall drivers. The problem that I recieved was from a conflict of onboard display and by graphics card.

You can have run all the ram in your system (10gb of ram), but your motherboard will run them in a single channel configuration so they would run at the slowest frequency (1333mhz).

Have you tried updating the BIOS? Your mobo looks to be about 2-3years.
