When posting with my old CPU, it beeps, so I assume so. It doesn't beep or anything, the fans do come on though. I have not tried fiddling with the RAM yet, though I don't think that's an issue, since I can still boot with my old CPU, though I will give it a try. hi-fi b85s3+ GTX 970

I'm trying to install an i7-4790 in a hi-fi b85s3+ and it's not posting, I've verified it's not a PSU issue, and I'm almost certain the CPU isn't dead. I've also updated the BIOS to the latest version which should support the CPU, according to BIOSTAR, and yet I'm getting nowhere. Any suggestions?
