Thank you for that info. That would be beyond me so if I wanted to pass this laptop on is there another way to clean up the drive before doing so.

Thank you both for that info. I had looked at that website before. I note it's only giving me a BIOS update for my model of laptop. So would that include all the drivers needed to run in on Win 10?

I guess I will also lose the Win 10 upgrade and it will revert back to its original OS. I seem to remember there were an awful lot of Toshiba drivers to dl and install, I'm not very technical. How will I know which drivers I'll need?
