    Instant computer crash

Have you looked at this tutorial http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-3128602/fix-windows-error-kmode-exception-handled.html ? I'll recommend starting there

    PC randomly freezes [SOLVED]

Nice that you're up and running proper again. It does seem a little strange (to me) that a BIOS update would fix that unless there was a software update that initialized the bug (very likely but still strange IMO). Did you get your RAM clocked back to 3000 or are you leaving well enough alone...

Outside casing of HP laptop cracked

A picture may help us realize the extent of damage but I'd be inclined to use a 5 or 10 minute epoxy to seal/repair the crack. *truthfully, I'm lazy enough I'd first attempt to cover the crack with a vinyl sticker to see if that doesn't stop (or at least retard) the spread of the crack

    PC randomly freezes [SOLVED]

How is the airflow in your Mini-ITX case? Have you checked temperatures and when was the last time the PC was cleaned? Offhand I'd suspect heat may be the culprit here so I would start by running CoreTemp or other temperature monitoring software to check temps.

    1100VA UPS with 850W PSU?

You should be fine using that but understand that your holdup time on battery won't be too long, especially if under load at the time.

    USB port power question

You're okay doing that, with the cable unplugged (either side) there is no circuit drawing power. You will of course, not want to drop the loose end into any liquids - that could be bad.

    Dell 3050 Switching PSU

Are you looking to add hardware such as a graphics card? If not, there are mounting adapters available so you can continue to use the Dell PSU if it's a smaller form factor than an ATX PSU. Another concern, did the new PSU come with the new case? What brand/model PSU are you wanting to connect...

    Power Supply Cable Question

HP makes some non-standard things in their PC's such as the power cable you're showing there. An adapter would allow you to power the DVD drive from a standard ATX PSU - as you've found

    My laptop doesn't turn on

My best guess is that your motherboard is failing. You may be able to have the laptop diagnosed and serviced, what make and model is the laptop and how old is it?

Why does enabling xmp cause blue screens?

Do you have the kit number to the Corsair Vengeance ram and how is it configured (2x16GB, 4x8GB, two separate 2x8GBkits)?

    UPS for New Computer

Because your PSU choice features Active PFC, a sine wave UPS would seem to be the ticket here but, at least through my CA sources (NewEgg & NCIX), they're about $100 cad above your desired budget. Note that some (not all but it's complicated) UPS's featuring "Stepped Approximation to Sine Wave"...

5 short beeps that repeat then boots

I might suspect the CMOS battery orientation, check to ensure it's properly installed (I believe + side up). You may also try... aw shucks, I forgot where I was going with this thought, it may be a day or two before it comes to me - please stand by

Computer shuts down randomly then refuses to start up again until I unplug and re-plug it

I would associate the problem with power. My initial instinct would be a faulty PSU although I would personally expect more life from the SeaSonic built High Current Gamer, the symptoms do fit.

pc turns Restarts/"crashes" when playing games and crashes instantly when running furmark

Given the description of symptoms, my primary suspect would be the PSU here
