[SOLVED] BIOS settings cannot be accessed & computer will not boot

I noticed you didn't mention your boot drive at all. Where is Windows running from? That (non-SSD?) hard disk may have failed as that is what I suspect the cursor across the screen is doing on boot, scanning your OS hard disk for errors. The other likely culprit is that your RAM could be...

New pc keeps spontaneously hard rebooting

Have you tried with each stick of RAM separately? If one of them is bad and you only tried taking one random stick out and testing, it could be the one that you left in for the test that's bad. Also, are you running all of your voltages and clock speeds at default right now?

    GTX 1080 artefacts

Unless your PSU is going out on you it sounds like it just doesn't like the OC profile. Try to lower your OC settings manually. ***WARNING*** - You could possibly damage your hardware by increasing voltage manually! You could also try bumping the voltage to the GPU in the smallest increments...

What can I do? New, used or just next gen?

I would not gamble with a used or refurbished GPU with all the mining going on (unless you're buying from someone you know personally). Those things have hundreds if not thousands of hours running at nearly 100% maxed out capacity.

It feels like my computer is running slower

Are all your drivers updated? Have you tried uninstalling all Nvidia software and reinstall fresh with the newest build?

    Is Freesync a killer feature?

I can't answer specifically about Freesync. I can tell you that I just upgraded to a 4k g-sync monitor. When I first tried a game at 4k@60hz there was so much screen tearing that it was almost unplayable. After enabling g-sync, everything was as smooth as butter...and so beautiful. Based on my...

New computer making slight grinding noise. Normal?

Grinding noises aren't normal. It could be as easy as a case fan wire touching the fan blades as it spins. Somebody is going to have to take the cover off to find out what's causing it.

A Newegg GPU Bundle For Every Build (Archive)

That sucks that they're only offering AMD CPU bundles or I'd snatch up a 1080 w/ i7 8700 and/or a mobo to go with it.

GPU works in certain PCs only

Windows 10 Pro. Yes my updates are downloaded and applied at like 3am. This happened middle of the day.

GPU works in certain PCs only

I have a Radeon HD7970 that's about 6 years old and never had any issues until a couple of days ago. Running dual monitors, I exited out of a game which should have taken me to my desktop, but instead the main screen where the game was being displayed just stayed black and then a few seconds...

Why does my Microphone turn Into a Speaker when it is in a Headphone Jack?

Plug it into the mic jack, right next to the speaker jack. Speaker is green, mic is pink or orange (or if it's a laptop use the other jack next to the one you are currently).
