Sorry for the lack of clarification. I already owned the 2400g from a couple of months ago, I have now got a GPU (RTX 2070), I am just wondering what impact specifically the 8 x PCIe lanes has on the performance of the card.

What ryzen chip would the Ryzen 2400g (just as a CPU) be equivalent to? Also looking on a review of the 2400g it says that this CPU only supports up to 'Eight lanes for PCIe slots' what does this mean and will it have a performance impact on an RTX 2070 (disregarding that the CPU processing...

Is it possible to use an to plug one of my monitors into my motherboard vga/dvi slot for my second monitor, with my primary monitor going into my graphics card?

I think the only way to help this problem would be to eliminate as many background processes as you possibly can before you play as you unfortunately do not have an overclock-able CPU. Other than that you will have to upgrade your CPU if it is bothering you that much.
