[SOLVED] Samsung 980 MZ-V8V1T0BW - what does the BW mean?

I'm looking to switch from my 1TB HDD to a new SSD, and I've found a good deal for a 1TB NVMe Samsung 980 MZ-V8V1T0BW for 79,99 Euros, or 90,53 Dollars. I've looked at the supported M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD list for my motherboard, a Gigabyte B450 Gaming X, and in it the 980 MZ-V8V1T0 is named, but...

[SOLVED] I can't clone Windows (ONLY Windows, not data) from half-full 1TB HDD to 120GB SSD because the SSD isn't large enough.

I'm located in Germany, and the best PC parts website is mindfactory.de, they have good prices. I don't really want to cross the 50$ mark. Maybe 30 or 40 would be preferable.

[SOLVED] I can't clone Windows (ONLY Windows, not data) from half-full 1TB HDD to 120GB SSD because the SSD isn't large enough.

[SOLVED] I can't clone Windows (ONLY Windows, not data) from half-full 1TB HDD to 120GB SSD because the SSD isn't large enough.

Yeah, by now I think I might just backup only the files such as Documents, Downloads, Photos etc. and migrate them back onto the SSD and I'll just install the applications manually... :[ Thanks guys

[SOLVED] I can't clone Windows (ONLY Windows, not data) from half-full 1TB HDD to 120GB SSD because the SSD isn't large enough.

Hi everyone, Thanks for all the answers. I was wondering, couldn't you back up the HDD and then completely wipe it, then set up the SSD/HDD configuration and then somehow migrate the data back onto the HDD? I don't really know how that could work, it was just an idea. Thanks, Camembert

[SOLVED] I can't clone Windows (ONLY Windows, not data) from half-full 1TB HDD to 120GB SSD because the SSD isn't large enough.

Hello all, I have been using a 1TB hard drive with my self-built PC for a while now, but because of the slow speeds, I decided to get a 120GB SSD which I could migrate the Windows operating system onto and boot from. However, I still wanted to keep all the data on my HDD and still be able to...
