even at 1080p the gtx 980 overclocked to 1478hz and running a 4790k at 4.8ghz cant run this game smoothly so what can?

i brought the kingston hyperx beast 2x4gb kit but i brought 2 of these packs, so i have 16gb of ram overall, now reading my board it says i need dual channel? although it has 4 slots is it worth me returning them to amazon and getting the 2x8gb kit? for no additional cost really.

so im currently on windows 7 ultimate and want to upgrade, are there any special offers? also if someone could outline a few pros and cons of windows 8.1
