Windows 8 isn't so bad once you get 'classic shell'. Bypass metro and get the windows 7 start bar in place. and turn everything else off the retard default setting.

As a GTX 690 on a 30" 2560x1600 im impressed. OpenCL it fkn owns. good for bitcoining i guess. But yeh if it was say at $799 people would go nuts for it. I have been an AMD/ATI guy when it counts, but the drivers compared to Nvidia its really make it hard to pay such a price

Still don't see the need to upgrade from my i7-930. Since Charts only show it at 2.8 ghz and it has been happily at 4 ghz for quite some time now.

I bought the Dell 3007wfp-hc a couple years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Tops my gf, cat, degree etc then it would be buying an ssd and my gtx 680. 2560x1600 for gaming or anything you do on the pc makes everything fabulous. Set IE to 125% for ease of browsing and away you go.

Nice work! I am guessing it would be too late to see how crossfire 5870's run? I am playing @ 2560x1600 with an i7@3.8ghz but am interested to see how another 5870 would improve things since you can pick one up second hand quite cheap these days.
