[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

SOLVED: It was indeed a temperature issue. Got a liquid CPU cooler, added 3 extra fans to my case and now it seems like no crashes are occuring. Thanks everyone for thinking with me.

[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

Crash occurs with Prime95 with clean boot as with external drivers enabled in same time span. No BSOD, just a black screen. I find it odd that it does work in safe mode. I have a feeling that my clean install of windows was not performed correctly. I will be doing that next. Thanks for all the...

[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

Doesn’t seem to crash when in safe mode while running Prime95. At least far out of the same time span as before (10 mins vs 30 seconds)

[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

VRM Mos barely hitting 40 C All fans have reasonable RPM's. I also tried running Prime95 with the fans all set to Full Speed in Bios, but still the crash occurs. This time, I have gotten a BSOD. Using WinDbg I can debug the following: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b) An exception happened while...

[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

Windows 10 Updated to latest Bios I agree that the CPU is warm, but it is not hot when it crashes, which is usually the moment higher loads are put on it.

[SOLVED] PC can run benchmarks but loading games causes crashes ?

Out of nowhere, my computer crashes to desktop when loading games. With repeated tries leading to black screens or a rare BSOD. The weird thing is, running Unigine's Superposition benchmarks both in Performance as in Game mode does not lead to crashes. Every other game I try to load, it either...

    [SOLVED] Clock_Watchdog_Timeout BSOD ?

SOLVED It turns out it was almost certainly my CPU that was faulty. I bought an i3 12100F to test if it was a CPU or motherboard issue. With the i3 I have none of the issues anymore.

    [SOLVED] Clock_Watchdog_Timeout BSOD ?

2 weeks later and I have the same problem. I have been troubleshooting further and this is what I've come to the conclusion: Using Driver Verifier, I made sure there were no driver issues. There was an issue with Logitech G Hub. Uninstalled and no issues with Driver Verifier afterwards. Some...

    [SOLVED] Clock_Watchdog_Timeout BSOD ?

Sadly I am not in a position to do this as the motherboard requires very recent Intel chip designs I saw in another forum post that checking SSD health could be an option as well. I installed and ran Samsung's Magician software and performed both the short and long diagnostic scan and the...

    [SOLVED] Clock_Watchdog_Timeout BSOD ?

Hey All, I built a new system in August. The first few months, the system has been running fine. There had been some crashes while running Rust but at the time I thought that was related to EasyAntiCheat. But now, after 6 months of use I can barely boot into a clean install of Windows 11...
