    [SOLVED] CPU is running at an extremely low frequency (800MHz) ?

    I tried clearing the CMOS as you described (by short circuiting the "clr_cmos" pin) and it seems to have fixed the issue. My CPU is now running at the correct frequency. Thank you so much for your help. If I have to guess, I think the Gigabyte's @bios was what caused bios to corrupt.

    Alright, I have changed the PSU with no avail, It's definitely not a power supply issue.
