my psu only has 2 8 pins for gpu. my gpu uses 1x6 pin and 1x8 pin, i was wondering if i could use an 8 pin in the 6 pin slot on one of my gpu power connectors. thanks.

The system originally came with a i3-2120 and i've recently been planning on on turning it into somewhat of a sleeper build by using an intel xeon, but im wondering if it will support it or will i just have to buy a new motherboard or do a bios update etc etc... Motherboard serial or model...
