Hey guys, I currently have two HDDs installed on my laptop. One of them being a boot drive, and the other for large files (games, movies, etc.) I am wanting to replace my boot drive with a new SSD for faster boot times, so what is the easiest method for this? I do not have the recovery disks...

You really haven't provided enough info to find an answer. What are the current specifications of the laptop? From what I'm reading, it already has a 2.3 ghz processor

Unless your running higher end products the two fans are enough in the case. But you will just have to look at the case and look to see if there are holes cut out for a fan.

My suggestion: Parts list got messed up. Will re do it later Solid build under your price. Added an ssd for faster boot times and such. An i5 wouldnt fit in the $500 but this will perform good for what you need.

Saying the 4670k will play the latest games for 5 years is like saying a Pentium 4 can run battlefield 4. It most likely won't happen, usually 2-3 years is max a CPU will last.

1st. I would get 8 gigs of ram rather than 4 2nd. A CPU cooler is a good idea with this CPU. It runs hot. 3rd. Don't you need a hardrive?

Buy and install an SSD.

Thats what it sounds like to me. The comoany will most likey refund/replace it.

I would just try to reformat the HDD again and see if that fixes the problem.

Highlight the files by dragging the mouse. Right click -> delete.

So, the PC is running fine now? If so, I wouldn't worry about it unless your components are running hot.
